Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response procedures for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across networks
- Develop/implement security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden systems against emerging threats
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Maintain forensic readiness and digital evidence protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and malware analysis
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) frameworks
