Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security incident response plans and playbooks
- Analyze network traffic and system logs to identify anomalous activities
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security controls align with business objectives
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend defensive measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
