Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patch management processes.
- Perform detailed incident response investigations and root cause analysis.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
