Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and breaches
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, runbooks)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening initiatives
- Generate executive-level security incident reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and defensive techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency with network security tools (Nmap, Wireshark)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and IAM
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 coverage
