Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM platforms and respond to alerts in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on organizational assets
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze malware and advanced persistent threats using provided forensic tools
- Lead incident response activities during security breaches
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration and network architecture
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision
