Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and coordinate remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, procedures, playbooks)
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure architecture implementations
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
