Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools to identify and respond to potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Investigate security incidents and lead forensic analysis to determine root causes
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security architectures, and compliance frameworks
- Certification in CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and vulnerability scanning tools
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
