Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for vulnerabilities and intrusions
- Investigate security incidents using SIEM tools and forensic analysis
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate emerging threats
- Collaborate with IT teams on security policy enforcement
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports
- Stay current with cybersecurity trends and threat intelligence
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security role
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of network protocols and security architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Preferred: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certifications
- Preferred: Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
