Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and prioritize incident response
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and generate detailed incident reports
- Develop and implement security controls to protect cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and maintain compliance frameworks
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on network infrastructure
- Document security procedures and create awareness training materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on SIEM experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap) and cloud security platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex security data
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
