Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to advanced threats
- Conduct incident investigations, forensic analysis, and remediation for security breaches
- Develop and implement security playbooks for common threat scenarios
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Generate executive security reports and dashboards for leadership
- Proactively identify emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC environment
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Expertise in threat detection tools (EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
