Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis of security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy advanced security controls and encryption protocols
- Perform threat hunting and proactive threat intelligence analysis
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations center (SOC) environments
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or Security+ (CEH/GCIH preferred)
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Advanced knowledge of threat intelligence platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to document complex security incidents
