Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate incidents and coordinate remediation with cross-functional teams
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and policies
- Implement network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Collaborate on incident response planning and tabletop exercises
- Stay current on threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certifications preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and endpoint protection
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize threats
