Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware outbreaks and APT attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Proactively hunt for threats using threat intelligence feeds and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security technologies
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex data points
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting
