This urgent opening requires immediate deployment to our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC). You'll work alongside industry experts cutting-edge tools to maintain our zero-trust architecture and protect sensitive data for Fortune 500 clients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence summaries
- Lead forensic investigations of security breaches and cyber attacks
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical security alerts
