Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructures
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze malware, intrusion attempts, and anomalous user behavior
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Lead forensic investigations and post-mortem analysis of security events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in threat detection tools and network protocols
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
