Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using Splunk and ArcSight SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial services infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for ransomware and APT response
- Collaborate with network engineers to harden systems against zero-day exploits
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports for compliance teams
- Lead tabletop exercises for incident response scenarios
- Implement NIST 800-53 controls for cloud and hybrid environments
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat hunting
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in Python for automation and threat analysis
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Strong understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work rotating shifts during critical incidents
