Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Qualys tools
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement zero-trust architecture solutions
- Perform forensic analysis of security incidents using EnCase and FTK
- Lead phishing simulations and security awareness training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat analysis roles
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications preferred
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Proficiency in Python or PowerShell for automation
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Ability to maintain TS/SCI clearance if required
