Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and implement remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001 standards
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and recommend preventive measures
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for reporting
