Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with network engineering team on firewall configurations
- Perform forensic analysis of security incidents using FTK/EnCase
- Stay current with emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience in SOC operations or security analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- Expertise in NIST Cybersecurity Framework implementation
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux security hardening
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
