Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and engineers to define feature requirements and user stories.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with a strong emphasis on testability, reusability, and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture planning sessions, and technical troubleshooting to ensure code quality and system stability.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, implementing best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and tools.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong command of JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and back-end technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setting.
- Must be willing to work in San Antonio, TX (Hybrid/On-site preferred).
