Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with minimal downtime
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence
- Assist with compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on SOC/Security Operations experience
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong knowledge of attack vectors and mitigation strategies
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
