Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for malware, phishing, and intrusion attempts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop automated playbooks for security event orchestration
- Collaborate with cloud teams to secure AWS/Azure environments
- Present threat intelligence briefings to executive stakeholders
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat detection roles
- Certified in CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC preferred
- Expertise in network forensics and endpoint detection tools
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS WAF, Azure Sentinel)
- Strong analytical skills with threat-hunting mindset
