Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and coordinate response activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security vulnerabilities
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with Linux/Windows system administration
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
