Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and respond to potential threats
- Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and implement remediation strategies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and ensure regulatory compliance
- Stay current with emerging threats, attack vectors, and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or SOC environments
- Strong proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+) preferred
- Expert knowledge of network protocols, threat intelligence, and attack patterns
