- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze malware and forensic evidence during security investigations
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISA certification preferred
- Proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint security
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
