Join our elite cybersecurity team at CyberShield Solutions Inc. as a Cybersecurity Analyst in Toledo, OH! This hybrid role combines on-site collaboration in our state-of-the-art Toledo facility with the freedom to work remotely up to 3 days per week. You'll be at the forefront of threat detection, incident response, and security strategy development in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices across networks and systems
- Analyze security logs and data to identify trends and potential threats
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in threat detection and incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys)
- Excellent communication skills for documenting incidents and collaborating with teams
