Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security policies aligned with NIST and CMMC standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement zero-trust security architectures
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead incident response drills and security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA CySA+)
- Expert knowledge of network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize threats under pressure
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
