Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments
- Develop incident response playbooks and security documentation
- Collaborate with network and cloud teams on security controls
- Generate executive-level security reports and metrics
- Stay current on emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC/NOC
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with incident response methodologies (NIST)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and security protocols
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
