Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven timelines
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, runbooks)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Conduct forensic analysis on security breaches
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
