Responsibilities
- Monitor and Respond: Continuously monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Management: Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents, ensuring minimal impact to business operations.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices and phishing awareness.
- Access Control: Manage user access rights and permissions to enforce the principle of least privilege.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a related IT security role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and network architecture.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
