Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations for security incidents
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate executive-level security reports and metrics
- Stay current with emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and log analysis
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong understanding of network security principles (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
