Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel).
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and perform timely remediation of identified security gaps.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and effective containment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of robust security policies and compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Perform threat hunting and provide regular security reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT security.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection systems (EDR).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
