Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with forensic tools (EnCase, FTK)
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
