Our Tucson-based SOC operates 24/7, and you'll be instrumental in maintaining our 99.9% incident response SLA. We provide comprehensive training in Splunk, CrowdStrike, and AWS security services, with opportunities to earn industry certifications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Sentinel) for real-time threat detection and alert triage
- Lead incident response investigations including malware analysis and threat hunting
- Develop playbooks for ransomware, APT, and DDoS mitigation scenarios
- Collaborate with network engineers to implement zero-trust architecture
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and risk assessment reports
- Conduct quarterly penetration testing on client environments
- Maintain compliance with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CMMC standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat analysis role
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in network forensics using Wireshark/TCPdump
- Advanced knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and IAM controls
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
- Ability to rotate on-call duty (1 week/month)
