Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Analyze malware and intrusion attempts using forensic investigation techniques
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Provide security awareness training to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in threat detection and response
- CompTIA Security+ and/or CISSP certification (or working toward)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex threats clearly
