Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Respond to security incidents, document findings, and implement remediation plans
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently in remote settings
- Experience with incident response frameworks and threat intelligence platforms
