Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and data exposure.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC environment with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in Python or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
