Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response investigations and coordinate remediation efforts
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and adapt defense strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or related role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus)
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
