Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Investigate security breaches, root cause analysis, and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Manage and configure endpoint protection solutions (EDR) across the organization.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
- Valid certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency in security tools including Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, or similar SIEM/EDR platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during security incidents.
