Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools like Splunk and Sentinel.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews.
- Implement and maintain firewall rules, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, malware attacks, and ransomware.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud infrastructure and applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in network security or SOC operations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and encryption standards.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
