Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk, QRadar, and Elastic SIEM platforms
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise networks
- Develop and maintain SOC playbooks for incident response protocols
- Collaborate with forensic teams during major breach investigations
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and threat intelligence reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP security services)
- Strong knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
