Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events in real-time to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure system integrity.
- Implement and manage security protocols in strict accordance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards.
- Lead incident response investigations, coordinate with legal and compliance teams, and document forensic findings.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and strengthen network architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or SOC operations.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and next-generation firewalls.
- Strong understanding of network security architectures, TCP/IP, and encryption protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
