Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect and analyze security incidents using SOAR automation
- Conduct forensic investigations on malware, ransomware, and APT attacks
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds and playbooks
- Collaborate with red team to simulate attacks and validate security controls
- Generate executive-level incident reports with actionable remediation steps
- Lead security awareness training sessions for client stakeholders
- Optimize IDS/IPS rules and firewall configurations to reduce false positives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Expertise in SIEM (Splunk/Sentinel), EDR, and network security tools
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting methodologies
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain government clearance
