Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and QRadar SIEM platforms
- Investigate security incidents with digital forensics tools (EnCase, FTK)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure
- Develop incident response playbooks and SOC documentation
- Collaborate with network engineers on zero-trust architecture implementation
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and quarterly risk reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years SOC experience with NIST frameworks
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP preferred
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation scripting
- Active clearance or ability to obtain government clearance
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services
- Valid North Carolina driver's license for occasional client site visits
