What You Will Do
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will act as the first line of defense against cyberattacks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and implement robust security measures to protect our assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and apply security patches, firmware updates, and configuration changes to maintain system integrity.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT security.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CompTIA Network+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, networking protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with endpoint protection solutions (EDR) and antivirus software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
