Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure.
- Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Terraform.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud resource utilization and implement strategies to reduce operational costs.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Disaster Recovery: Plan and execute robust disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development and DevOps teams to integrate cloud services into application lifecycles.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or System Administration.
- Technologies: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- IaC: Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Scripting: Advanced knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
