Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS/Azure services (EC2, S3, Lambda, AKS, etc.)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment via Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and security compliance
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud infrastructure
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems using tools like Datadog/Prometheus
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document architecture decisions and create operational runbooks
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, AWS WAF)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with cloud troubleshooting experience
