Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Ensure cloud security compliance, implement identity and access management (IAM) policies, and conduct regular security audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application Development to define technical requirements and architectural standards.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs to ensure budget efficiency while maintaining performance SLAs.
- Lead incident response and troubleshooting for cloud-based services and production environments.
- Document architecture, system configurations, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation tasks.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
