Upon completion, you'll transition into a permanent Cloud Engineer role supporting Fortune 500 clients across the Midwest.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Implement cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Monitor cloud environments using tools like CloudWatch and Azure Monitor
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Document architecture designs and operational procedures
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation post-training
Qualifications
- Strong desire to learn cloud technologies (no prior experience required)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Proficiency in Linux command line and scripting (Bash/Python)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions
- CompTIA Cloud+ or AWS/Azure certification within 6 months
