Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud-based applications and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and products.
- Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Automate routine tasks and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system health and performance, troubleshooting incidents with a focus on root cause analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, load balancers, and DNS.
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
